My Top Ten Couples

Hey everyone Madam Degrassi here! I'm new to blogspot and am here to say that I give all of Degrassi credit! And to get started, id like 2 tell u my personal fav couples - because thats pretty much wat degrassi is about right?

10. Paige and Alex
As the first lesbian couple on Degrassi, Paige and Alex give you a sense of true Degrassi. They're just really cute together and this is like the first time that we see Paige learning not to be such a queen bee, and leatning to have a little fun in life. But as far as Alex goes, I'm not a mega fan of hers but I think she adds good detail to the story lines and I like how independent she is. They're different which makes them great.

9.  Peter and Darcy
When Peter was the interesting badboy who drew you right in - we all loved it. Darcy was the concerned Christian who always followed her parents' rules. But when they got together after Sparcy's breakup - Darcy really changed and Peter helped her heal after what happened. And she helped him too by making him a better person. And I personally cried when Darcy left Peter in Season 8. Then Pia came into our mist.

8. Manny and Jay
I CANNOT STAND JAY. I really hate that guy for too many reasons to count. But I do like Manny, and she's gone threw too many heartbreaks. So when she found love in Jay - I cheered! Though I do say I think that Jay found love in Manny too when he met her.

7. Craig and Ellie
Non couple. But I love them. Ellie loves Craig so much, and she has so much hope and compassion for him. So when Cranny came in the mix, I felt awful for Ellie when she had to watch that. But Craig truly does love Ellie, and we would do almost anything for her - as a freind of course. I really hated when he took advantage and kissed her and THEN MADE HER PROMISE NOT TO TELL JOEY ABOUT HIS DRUGS! I was like 'Kick his butt Ellie!'

6. Sav and Anya
I love them. They were the first new school Degrassi couple. But they honestly always end up breaking up and I am sad every stinking time! Like at Anya's LARP wedding and Sav showed up playing the lume or whatever. Sweetness :D TDM (Totally Degrassi Moment)

5. Holly J and Declan
This is where you really see Holly J turning into one of the heriones of the show, and see her place taken as the mean girl, by Bianca in Season 10. Declan and Holly J were made for each other and I see no reason why they shouldn't be together right now. I mean like, I really think that they are what makes the best in the other stand out. I hate Sav and Holly J tho, they suck majorly.

4. Sean and Emma
Classic Degrassi and one of their most famous couples. With the largest fanbase out of any other couple (until season 10, where they were almost beaten by Eli and Clare) Semma is one of the reasons that everyone loves oldschool Degrassi. They always show that their love for the other person, and first love will always conquer in the end.


3. Adam and Fiona
 They are the funniest characters on Season 10. But I do love how Fiona calls him Prince Adam and he calls her Princess Fiona even when they weren't flirting. The newest couple on here, I can't wait to see what happens when Holly J walks in on them making out. Personally, I feel that this was a graet edition to Degrassi. Fadam have so much chemistry.


2. JT and Liberty
JT is everyone's favorite. He's the goofball, Liberty's the overacheiver. Seeing how she crushed on him for so many years, and to see him finally notice her warmed my heart. They got threw Liberty's pregnancy as a non couple after breaking up, and JT's drug abuse as a non couple. But when Lib admitted that she was still iin love with him and JT says that he still loves her to Toby made me cry. And what fans call the worst moment in Degrassi history, JT's death was heartbreaking.

1. Eli and Clare
(HATERS BACK OFF.) My all time favorite couple. They set the record for largest fanbase in the smallest amount of time and really showed us how good a pair could be together. Their meeting was flawless, the way Eli teases her and the way they flirt is great. I love their first kiss, because it's classic for two writers. 'Umbrella' when Clare finds out about Eli's hoarding and helps him threw it was amazing, to see how they can get threw anything. Their complete oppisotes. Clare pretty much is a mix of her Darcy and Emma and then herself. She's the compelling christian intelligence who wants more then her parents' life. Eli's the mysteriosu outsider badboy who isn't all that bad. Their fluff scenes are so cute and everything about them has driven me to obsession.
